Shinichi Kudou, a high school student with an amazing talent for investigation, is known for solving many complex cases. One day, after seeing two suspicious men and deciding to follow them, Shinichi inadvertently sees an anomaly disturbing him. Unfortunately, he is caught in the act, and the men administer an experimental drug developed by their criminal organization, leaving him to his fate. However, to his surprise, Shinichi did not die, but was now in the body of a seven-year-old boy.

Keeping her original sense perfectly intact, she hides her true identity from everyone, including her childhood friend, Ran Mouri, and her father, the private detective Kogorou Mouri. To do so, he adopted the alias of Conan Edogawa, inspired by mystery writers Arthur Conan Doyle and Ranpo Edogawa.

Shinichi, posing as Conan, begins secretly solving cases of old Mouri from the shadows, thanks to his still exceptional detective skills, while covertly investigating the organization responsible for his current state, hoping to one day reverse the effects of the drug.
