Synopsis:

Coco, the daughter of a humble seamstress, has always been fascinated by magic and the witches who practice it, despite the extreme care they take to conceal their methods from the public. However, when Coco seizes a golden opportunity to spy on the ingenious wizard Qifrey, she discovers that her favorite storybook was, in fact, a hidden magic book. Excited, Qifrey begins experimenting with various things.

When disaster strikes their home, Qifrey rescues her just in time and decides to train her, realizing that she is the first clue he has found that can lead him to the Winged Hats, a dangerous group of rebels who experiment with forbidden magic to alter bodies and spread magic to ordinary people. But before Coco and Qifrey can meet the Winged Hats, she will have to hone her magical skills and learn to get along with Qifrey’s other students.
